Cocktails by Dani Cross, Level 3 Sommelier
3 oz Favorite Alcohol muddled with cucumber shaken with ice and strained into Martini glass, top with Aligote and sliced cucumbers.
1 oz Tequila shaken and poured over ice in a Martini glass top with 3 oz Aligote and float ½ oz Grand Marnier on top with Lime wedge.
1 Fresh Tomato
2 cloves Garlic
1 inch grated ginger
½ inch grated Turmeric
Squirt of Sriracha
Dash of Tamari Sauce
Blend until smooth, pour 1.5 oz Vodka or Tequila over ice in large glass and stir in blended veggies with celery stalk. Garnish with Roasted Mini Pepper Poppers and wedge of lime.
A twist on the classic Kir from Burgundy France. Traditional Kir is a splash of Cassis topped with Aligote. It is a favorite aperitif in Burgundy and is named for a former Priest and Mayor of Dijon who served the aperitif often. Kir Royale uses Champagne. 1/2 ounce Creme de Cassis, top with 4 ounces Aligote.
Red Currant Syrup (www.moderngingham.com) a unique blend of locally foraged currant syrup and ½ oz YOLO Silver Rum in bottom of Aperitif glass, pour 3 oz Aligote chilled over syrup.
Pour ½ oz YOLO Silver in bottom of Champagne flute top with ½ oz YOLO Red Currant Syrup (www.moderngingham.com) a unique blend of locally foraged currant syrup, and ¾ fill glass with 3 oz chilled Champagne.
Place ½ oz Blackberry Lavender Syrup in bottom of glass. Pour Shaken 1 oz Brandy and 2 oz OJ on top, top with 3oz Domaine Gouffier Aligote. Add ice and float 1 oz Grand Marnier and ¼ oz Lavender Blackberry Preserves and Blackberries on top. Garnish with Orange slice.
Place ½ oz Blackberry Lavender Syrup in bottom of glass. Pour Shaken 1 oz YOLO Silver and 2 oz OJ on top, top with 3oz Domaine Ste Marie Vie Vite. Add ice and float 1 oz YOLO Gold and ¼ oz Lavender Blackberry Preserves and Blackberries on top. Garnish with Orange slice.
Place ½ oz Blackberry Lavender Syrup in bottom of glass. Pour Shaken 1 oz YOLO Silver and 2 oz OJ on top, top with 3oz Chateau Piote Bordeaux Rouge. Add ice and float 1 oz YOLO Gold and ¼ oz Lavender Blackberry Preserves and Blackberries on top. Garnish with Orange slice.
Taste of Provence
1-2 Blackberries and ½ oz Blackberry Lavender Preserves (www.moderngingham.com) in a chilled martini glass, top with 3 oz Vie Vite Provence Rose and float ¼ oz YOLO Gold on top.
1 oz Currant Syrup/Blackberry Lavender Syrup in bottom of glass, Shake 1.5 oz Tequila and 3 oz fresh OJ and pour over and top with ice. Garnish with Orange slice.
Pour 2 oz Vodka shaken into a chilled Martini glass, pour Champagne over and float 1oz Cognac on top.
1/4 oz Grape and Ginger Preserves in bottom of shot glass, pour in ½ oz Vodka or Tequila
Top with Champagne.
8th Sin Toffee YOLO Float
In a Champagne flute alternate melon balled scoops of Chocolate Gelato and 8th Sin Toffee pieces, pour in Champagnes or Prosecco to ¾ fill glass. Top with whipped cream, 8th Sin Toffe crumbles and pour 1oz YOLO Gold over top.
